I got to my local EBGames and was #2. I paid off the whole thing and was surprised that I still have to stand in line when they come in...granted I have the #2 spot in that line.
I will be playing my 360 in antsy anticipation. Gears of War comes out BEFORE the PS3, right? So at least I have a couple of stepping stones to keep me occupied.
A lot of the points this guy brought up, including "the PlayStation brand is synonymous with gaming around the world," was said back when Nintendo was king and the Playstation was just starting out. History could repeat itself.

I had a PSP. It was recently stolen. I bought a DS Lite to replace it, and that was probably one of the smartest moves that I have made. I am a little bummed that I can't play Liberty City Stories...and maybe Lumines, but that is really about it.

I have had a 360 since launch. If it broke right now, I would still want to play my games. They ARE good games in my opinion. My OPINION. The customer service for the 360 has improved greatly over the original Xbox of which I bought three in 6 months.

I buy a very limited amount of the Xbox Live Marketplace stuff. Maybe an Oblivion add-on here and there, but we are still paying to play.
Free online play is awesome. I don't think Sony ever said that EVERYTHING was going to be free. But I still have my doubts that just paying for content and "specific services" will cover the expense of the servers.

We would spend the majority of the outside time playing, because my parents limited my PC and Atari/Colecovision/NES/Genesis time. That post was great. The guys at MY Best Buy are not the sharpest tools in the shed. On top of the fact that there are SO many Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD displays set up.
